Ordering Terms

Here’s some important things you need to know about your order before submitting it.

1. Time Frames
We can’t guarantee any time frames on our deliveries. Your flowers will leave our Tarragindi store at about 12:30pm and will be delivered during the course of the afternoon on a route that is most efficient for the driver. This changes daily so until that route has been planned, we are unable to provide you with an estimated time for delivery. Once the routes have been planned we can provide you with an ETA, but please be aware that this time is not guaranteed and that it is subject to change. We aim to have all business deliveries completed by 5:30pm and residential by 6pm.

2. Time frame deliveries – special requests
If you require your order by a certain time, please contact a team member to organise a special delivery. Please note that this will incur an additional delivery fee. We can provide you with a quote for this upon request. This include deliveries to schools. If you choose to continue with your order without paying for the special delivery time frame Poppy Rose will not be held responsible for the receiver not being at the location or for the location being closed. The costs to re-deliver these flowers will remain the responsibility of the sender.

3. Please check your details
Please be sure to check that all of the details (address and receiver details) you have provided are correct. It is the responsibility of the sender to provide us with the correct information that we require to complete your delivery. Any incorrect details may result in the flowers being returned to the studio and the need to pay an additional delivery fee. We may not be able to complete the re-delivery on the same day. Any non-deliveries on Friday’s that are not able to be resolved may require an entire new order to be placed. Alternatively the flowers may be able to be collected from our Tarragindi store.

4. Can we access the property?
Please ensure the property we are delivering to is not secure and your courier will be able to access the front door. If this is not possible, the flowers may have to be returned to the studio and a re-delivery fee may be applicable. We may not be able to complete the re-delivery on the same day. Any non-deliveries on Friday’s that are not able to be resolved may require an entire new order to be placed. Alternatively the flowers may be able to be collected from our Tarragindi store.

5. Deliveries to hospitals
If your flowers are being delivered to a hospital please ensure that we have the patients full and correct name. Please also ensure we have been given the correct hospital. It’s a good idea to check that the patient is going to be staying in the hospital all day. If the patient has been discharged by the time we have arrived, the flowers will be returned to our store in Tarragindi. The costs to re-deliver these flowers will remain the responsibility of the sender. We may not be able to complete the re-delivery on the same day. Intensive Care Units will not accept flowers for safety of the patients in the unit. If the patient is in ICU the flowers will be turned away and returned to our studio. We will contact you as soon as we can in this circumstance.

6. What if the receiver is not home
If no one is home the flowers will be left at the front door or with someone at the address. Our driver may not always be able to contact the recipient on delivery. If there is a problem with the delivery, the delivery driver will handle at their own discretion.

It is the responsibility of the sender to ensure Poppy Rose has all of the details required in order to complete the delivery. Failure to do so may result in the order not being delivered. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the team.
