It’s a very weird time for all of us. Here is how we are handling the current Coronavirus situation.


Our deliveries

At this stage it is business as usual when it comes to where and when we are delivering. We have made some changes to our daily products which have been really well received by all of our customers. We are offering a Daily Market bunch which we will source from local growers each morning. This bunch will vary each day and will be available in a Single and Double size. Our Custom bunches and floral subscriptions are still temporarily unavailable.

Our drivers are taking extra precautions to ensure that our deliveries are made with minimal hand to hand contact, none where possible. Your order will be left in a safe spot and the recipient will be notified by text message. Please be sure to leave the correct mobile number when placing your order to ensure that we are able to do this. The sender will receive an email containing the proof of delivery as per our normal procedure. We do ask that recipients refrain from greeting our couriers on arrival. This is the safest way to ensure that your delivery is completed with minimal risk to both our drivers and your loved ones. We do hope you understand.

It’s important to us that we do all that we can to keep our team, our customers and the general public safe and healthy. We will continue to monitor advice from the government and will change our procedures as the situation develops.

UPDATE: For the safety of our team, customers and the general public we have temporarily suspended deliveries to hospital and universities. Please direct all deliveries to a home or business address where we will continue to make contactless deliveries where possible.


Our retail store

Like our deliveries, our retail store is operating as normal at this stage. Our team are doing all that we can to keep our little space clean and sanitised. Our space is only small, so we ask all of our customers to be mindful of social distancing between staff and other customers while shopping in store.

We have reduced our opening hours slightly, closing a little earlier on the days that we noticed it was a little quieter. Our new opening hours are listed below. We will monitor sales and advice from the government and will also continue to update this as things change.

Monday to Wednesday – 7am – 2pm
Thursday & Friday – 7am – 4pm
Saturday – 8am – 2pm


Weekends in store

Our weekends are always super busy and our market bundles are popular little guys! We’re treating this part of our business like the rest of it. We will continue to serve up our market bunches until we are advised not to. Again, our store is only little so we ask all of our customers to be mindful of social distancing between staff and other customers while visiting us.


Supply
Imported flowers have officially stopped landing in Australia so we are taking this as an opportunity to support our local growers. Some of the product you might be used to seeing in our bunches comes from overseas. We are now offering a Daily Market Bunch for delivery which consists of a mix of blooms selected from our favourite suppliers each morning. Our Market bunches are available in Single and Double size. We may not be able to create one daily bunch due to a large volume of orders and limited supply. On days like these we will create multiple combinations of flowers. Unfortunately we won’t be able to have each combination available for selection when ordering.

We promise to continue to aim to source the freshest and best quality product that we possibly can. We’ve had to make some changes to the way we do things but we promise our main focus will always be on producing beautiful bunches of fresh flowers.

Australia wide flower shortage
Due to the high demand of flowers over the Mother’s Day period and the lack of imported products coming into Australia, we are now experiencing a nation wide shortage of flowers. For this reason we won’t be delivering anything on Wednesday 13th & Thursday 14th of May. If you have placed a pre-order we have attempted to contact you via phone or email to make alternative arrangements. We are hoping things go back to the way they were before Mother’s Day nice and quickly but the situation is very much out of our control and we an only take it day by day. If your order is affected in any way, we will be in touch with you.
